Want real event experience at one of Indianapolis's biggest races?
This fall, Sport Management is offering SPM 380, a one-credit course (2nd 8-week)) built in partnership with Beyond Monumental, the organization behind the CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon.
Starting October 13, you'll hear directly from the Beyond Monumental team and learn how large events handle volunteer and participant management.
After a few weeks of prep, you'll put that knowledge to work on-site at the marathon, then wrap up by sharing your experience with the class.
It's a short course with a big payoff: hands-on experience, professional connections, and a standout addition to your résumé.
