A one-time Extended Support Option (ESU) is available for university-issued computers still running Windows 10 which is approaching end-of-life on October 13, 2025. ESU provides basic security updates and continued access to the ISU network for one additional year, until October 2026. The extended support program does not include hardware or warranty repairs.
To participate in the ESU program, users must complete the Extended Support (ESU) Sign Up Form no later than September 26, 2025. Windows 10 computers must be updated to Windows 11 or enrolled in ESU by September 26, 2025. Any Windows 10 computers that are not enrolled in ESU by that date may lose access to the University network on October 13, 2025.
