Volunteers needed for Special Olympics Summer Games

The 2022 Special Olympics Summer Games are taking place June 17th – 19th in Terre Haute. We are already less than 60 days away.

In preparation for this special event, we once again are looking forward to having a great volunteer presence of ISU students and staff. This year will be special for our athletes as many are returning to competition for the first time in two years and we once again will be able to host our opening ceremonies in the Renovated Hulman Center.

Below you will find information on how to register to volunteer. Please read through the instructions completely as it will detail how you need to register with our volunteer registration system. Please read the information carefully.

Please use the link below to access our Volunteer Registration System:

In the Blue Box labeled ISU Students and Staff enter the access code: ISU and then press select.

Follow the instructions on the pages and select which volunteer job you want to assist with. You must make a selection in fields that are required.

After you have selected your shifts press NEXT and follow the instructions to either log-in to your existing account, or, if this is your first time volunteering, create an account. You will then fill out your user profile – please be sure to answer the fields that ask for your ISU ID # and for Group or Organization enter how you are affiliated with ISU (for example: Staff, Football Team, HHS student).

After you register you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive one, please check your spam or junk folder as your security settings might have filtered the email. More information will be sent once you are registered, and the event draws near. If you have questions, feel free to contact our office. Either Savannah or Kevin will be glad to assist you – svaughn@soindiana.org or kaders@soindiana.org.
