United Way of the Wabash Valley is hosting their annual volunteering event, Serve The Valley, Friday, July 28th! They are seeking volunteers to help support the community by participating in one of their 35+ projects!
Some of the projects include:
• Assembling DIY Dog Beds at the Humane Society
• Power-washing, raking, and pruning West Vigo School grounds
• Painting the farm shed at Sisters of Providence
• Help tag and shelve several cases of Bomba socks to help with streamlining the distribution of socks to kids going back to school
• Beautifying our cities such as Brazil and Terre Haute
Volunteers can be of any age as long as supervision is present. You can also sign up an entire group, or volunteer on your own! Either way, you won’t be lonely as you are joined by hundreds of other volunteers.
