Institutional data is a critical source of information for analyzing student outcomes, monitoring trends, and strategic planning. Despite these possibilities, many faculty have limited experience accessing or using institutional data, and faculty and administrators often have differing perspectives on what data is valuable. This session will use Blue Reports institutional data provided to programs by academic affairs each fall to discuss why certain data matters to administration, what data matters most to faculty, and how data can be used to promote program effectiveness. Resources will be shared to aid faculty in accessing other sources of data that they find critical for program planning.
This session will be presented by Susan Powers, Whitney Nesser, and Kelley Woods-Johnson.
