To get the most of your announcements, consider these points:
• Indiana State Today (IST) only runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you put Monday, Wednesday, or Friday as your run date when you submit your announcement, we have to change it to a correct run date.
• Be sure to plan ahead, especially if your announcement is for an event or requires a time sensitive action. Each announcement allows two run dates. If you want more run dates, you will need to submit the same announcement multiple times.
• Submitted text with live links (urls/emails) sometimes loses the links when it reaches us. Best practice is to always include the url/email in parenthesis after the word(s) that should have the link. EXAMPLE: For more information, please click here. (www.yourlink.com)
• When submitting artwork or documents they must either be a JPG or PDF file. Word documents do not work with our program – so be sure to save them as PDFs before submitting.
• JPGs show up as artwork in your announcement where PDFs show up as a link.
