The High-Fidelity Health Care Simulation on Student Readiness to Practice

Monday, January 27 from 2-2:30 p.m.
Health care is a dynamic and constantly evolving field that requires clinicians to implement the newest techniques to care for patients. However, previous literature demonstrates a lack of confidence and practice gap for both students and clinicians. High-fidelity simulations are an innovative assessment strategy that places students in real world situations that allow them to practice new interventions. This presentation will discuss the impact of high-fidelity simulation for post-professional athletic training learners’ confidence and readiness to practice.
