A group of faculty are attempting to secure a grant from The Teagle Foundation that would support the teaching of the liberal arts and humanities at Indiana State, anchored in a central theme, “What is justice?”
If you teach in Foundational Studies and are interested, we are asking for faculty to indicate their interest in participating in such an effort. If so, we also ask if they would be willing to contribute to a shared reading list that provides faculty with works that speak to justice and how it impacts our daily lives.
This interest does not commit you to anything, but rather helps to signal to the Teagle folks we are serious about this effort. If we are awarded the funds, we anticipate paying participating faculty a stipend. If you are interested, please contact Levi Allen at levi.allen@indstate.edu.
