Sycamore SafeZone Train the Trainer Workshop

Facilitators Needed! Join us for our facilitator training session. Limited space for each training. Only those interested in serving as Sycamore SafeZone (SSZ) facilitators for FY21-22 need to register. Both sessions will be held on August 4, 2021. Session 1 will be held from 8:30 – 12:30pm and Session 2 will be held from 1-5pm. Fifteen spots open each session. Snacks will be provided. You need only attend one train the trainer session. Sycamore SafeZone is an ally development program created to establish a campus that is safe and affirming for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual (LGBTQIA+) students, faculty and staff. The SSZ program encourages students, faculty, and staff to explore cultural identity, values, and stereotypes in order to better understand how these issues impact the university, Terre Haute, and LGBTQIA+ communities.
