The Career Center will be hosting monthly Supervisor Trainings for supervisors of student employees beginning this month! Please note that departments receiving supplemental funding for one or more student positions MUST have a representative attend one of the first 3 sessions, which will cover an overview of Student Employment as well as strategies for setting expectations and having hard conversations with our student employees.
These trainings are scheduled for:
- July 31, 2024 – 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
- August 7, 2024 – 10:00 am – 11:00 am
- August 12, 2024 – 10:00 am – 11:00 am
All other Supervisor Trainings for the academic year will be held on the following dates:
- September 12, 2024 – 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- October 10, 2024 – 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- November 14, 2024 – 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- December 12, 2024 – 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- January 16, 2024 – 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- February 13, 2024 – 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- March 13, 2024 – 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- April 10, 2024 – 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
All trainings will be held in the Career Center classroom, Room 106.
