Summer Service Learning FLC

The Center for Community Engagement and the FCTE will provide a 1-year intensive seminar that focuses on the creation and development of service-learning courses. This opportunity is offered as a summer cohort.
During these required June dates, faculty will explore the concepts of service and experiential learning, will develop and deploy an experiential learning or service-learning course, and will create and complete a course assessment plan relative to service and experiential learning.

There are specific requirements for faculty who are approved to participate in the Summer Service Learning FLC. In addition, a $1000 stipend is offered for completion of the program. The required June FLC dates are June 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, and 30 from noon- 2 p.m. in the FCTE. For more information, contact Jessica Starr in the CCE.
