Happy almost spooky season everyone!!
Submissions are now open for The Haunting of Bare Montgomery
The Haunting of Bare Montgomery is a Halloween themed exhibition that will take place in, you guessed it, the Bare Montgomery gallery in Fairbanks Hall. The show was a huge hit last year, so we’re coming back for a 2nd season.
As always, all current ISU students can enter regardless of major and this year we’re also opening it up to current ISU faculty and staff! Let’s get everyone together for a big, spooky, salon-style Halloween exhibition this season.
Interested in submitting work? Here’s the rules:
– artwork must fall into one of the following themes – spooky, scary, haunted, Halloween, Fall, Harvest, candy, pumpkins, monsters, costumes
– can submit up to 2 pieces
– any medium, any size
– digital work is also accepted, just specify how you want it displayed in your submission email
– should be something made within the past 5 years
– cannot resubmit something that was in last year’s showing
– artwork must be your own
Send your submissions to smorlan@sycamores.indstate.edu
Please include the following information for each piece: a photo (or video if 3D), the title, the year it was made, the medium/materials used, and your preferred name
If you are submitting digital pieces, send your file instead of a photo.
If files are too big to send through email, use wetransfer.com
Submissions will close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, October 3rd
The Haunting of Bare Montgomery will open on October 13th in the Bare Montgomery Memorial Student Art Gallery, located in the lobby of Fairbanks Hall.
