Supplemental Funding is being allocated for student wage funds for the 2021-2022 academic year. The funds are designated to assist departments who wish to hire students for positions that require a higher level of responsibility than a general clerical job. Undergraduate or graduate students may be hired through this program with the exception of students receiving a graduate assistantship scholarship.
Each department may submit only ONE application for the entire department. Please consult with the faculty and staff in your department and decide how many students you need through this funding. The award will be deposited into the departmental account, and you will be responsible for distributing it accordingly. You will need to assign one point person from your department to coordinate this supplemental funding process.
The money awarded through this program is to be used IN ADDITION to your existing student employment funding. The goal of this program is to give the greatest number of students an opportunity for employment. The deadline to submit requests is close of business on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 4:30pm (EST). The Career Center will email award notices on Friday, August 28. Business Affairs will also be notified of departmental awards for this program so that they can appropriately distribute funds.
