Staff Council is now accepting nominations for the Sycamore Staff Award and the Debbie Nelson Staff Council Spirit Award.
The Sycamore Staff Award honors a benefits-eligible staff member (full- or part-time) who has contributed to the mission and success of Indiana State University. Eligible staff must have at least one year of service. Current Staff Council members and past recipients are not eligible.
The Debbie Nelson Staff Council Spirit Award recognizes an outstanding 2025–2026 Staff Council representative who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and service to Indiana State staff. Past recipients are not eligible.
Award recipients will be announced at the Staff Council Annual Meeting on May 14, 2026, and all nominees will be recognized.
