SoftChalk is an easy-to-use tool that faculty can employ to create engaging materials for students in both online and face-to-face courses. Using SoftChalk, faculty can build interactive lessons, embed videos, and integrate small-scale assessments while students are reading materials. These assessments can easily be integrated into Canvas courses and be utilized within the gradebook.
In this session faculty members will learn the basics of using SoftChalk, including how to create lessons and learning objects, how to create questions and other quick assessments, and how to link SoftChalk materials to their Canvas courses and grade books.
