SCOB Faculty Publishes New Research Examining CRM Skills for Sales/Marketing

New research shows advance technology Customer Relations Management (CRM) system skills are critical for marketing and sales graduates, according to Indiana State University Associate Professor David Fleming. 

Dr. Fleming, a faculty member in the Scott College of Business, recently published research exploring how integrating CRM training into business school curricula can better prepare students for the workplace, and landing marketing and sales jobs. 

The paper highlights various training approaches across marketing courses, from basic exposure to CRM technology to more advanced, hands-on experiences.  By adopting these strategies, universities can better align themselves with new industry standards and needs and give students a better chance to excel in modern sales environments.
