The Rich and Robin Porter Race for Cancer Research is a 1-mile walk/run through campus organized by the Student Philanthropy Organization. The race will kick off on Friday, September 15 at 1:00 p.m. in between the Fountain and Science Building, also known as Dede Plaza.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Rich and Robin Porter Cancer Research Center and further the generosity of the Porters. The center was created by a gift from alumnus Rich Porter, and his wife, Robin, to support the research of five internationally competitive graduate students. Their gift and dedication to the cause is a transformational boost to Indiana State’s work on cancer research.

Registration is now live. You can register online or you are welcome to register in person on race day. The race is $15 for students, $20 for virtual participants, and $25 for faculty/staff/community.
