Quilting/Paper piercing

Have you been quilting awhile and wanting to branch out and try paper piercing, but you don’t know where to start? Join me in making a Christmas Themed table topper/wall hanging using the paper piercing technique. You will also learn how to quilt it using your sewing machine and making/sewing on the binding. You will have a completed project when you are finished with the class.

We will supply the paper piecing paper and fabric (including backing, batting, and binding) to make the table topper.

REQUIRED SUPPLIES:

Sewing machine (with sewing machine needle and bobbins – I use size 80/12 Schmetz Universal needles)
Quarter ruler 12″ long Rotary cutter
Cutting mat with an ironing pad
Mini iron Fabric glue stick (make sure it’s the temporary kind – not permanent)
100% cotton thread – white (I like Aurifill 50 wt)
