Planned Maintenance – Banner Unavailable on Monday March 9 – Beginning at 4:00 a.m.

OIT will be performing critical infrastructure updates to the university Administrative System (Banner) on Monday, March 9, 2026 (The first day of Spring Break). The upgrade will begin at 4 a.m. on Monday morning and continue through business hours on Monday.

During this period ALL Banner Services will be unavailable:

• Banner Administrative System – All system functions and processes
• All Student, Employee, Faculty Self-Services
• Registration Schedule Builder
• Banner Reporting System (Argos, etc.)
• UC4 Job Scheduling

Continued Access to unaffected ISU Services are available through MyApps: https://myapps.microsoft.com/

Banner System Integrations that will be unavailable or degraded:• Online Credit Card Payments
• DegreeWorks (Student Data will not be refreshed)
• MyISU Experience
o The Portal may not display at all and give a message that “User Not Found” *
o If the Portal Displays
 You will see a message about a “data retrieval problem” will appear at the top of the portal. **
 Some Dynamic Information Cards may show un-refreshed data.
 Some Cards may show “Data Connection” errors.

Data Refreshes to the following services will be delayed:
• STBY Database Refresh
• DegreeWorks (Student Data)
• Canvas (Enrollment Data)
• Civitas Advise
• Slate 1 Admitted Students Data and Application Updates
• Slate 2 Enrolled Student Information

OIT will notify campus when all services have been restored.
