On Wednesday, January 29 from 1:30 to 3:00 in the Cunningham Memorial Library Event Center, Dr. Nathan A. Schaumleffel, CPRE, ACNP, CFRM, CVA, CYSA will discuss the critical role that parks and public lands play in our society and their deep connection to the democratic process, as well as the importance of citizen engagement in the stewardship of our public lands. He will highlight his experiences as a Mayoral-appointed Park and Recreation Board Member for the City of Terre Haute and as the Chief Consultant for the National Association of Park Foundations.
