Multicultural Services & Programs (MSP) is seeking to exhibit a diverse body of art made by student artists here at Indiana State University. MSP invites submissions from artists in the media of their choosing (including: painting, drawing, textiles, photography, graphic design, sculpture, and installation art). We are aiming to highlight the diversity of student expression – from representational work to abstraction – and that artists’ submissions can engage with various identities, histories, and cultures.
We are looking to add multiple art pieces to all five of our student resource centers: the Women’s Resource Center, the LGBTQ+ Student Resource Center, the International Student Resource Center, the Veteran’s Resource Center, and La Casita Student Resource Center. Pieces should represent some aspect of the center it is being submitted for.
Submissions must be received via this Qualtrics form no later than Sunday, October 22. MSP staff will follow up with artists regarding final selections the week of October 23 and to discuss a timeline for the installation (e.g. permanent pieces and temporary exhibits). All selected artists will be invited to display their work during the MSP Student Art Ceremony on Monday, November 13 from 4-6 p.m. in Dede I. This exhibition will be on display starting January 2024.
