ISU’s Center for Community Engagement is seeking students, faculty, and staff to volunteer as mentors at Ben Franklin Elementary School. Volunteers will be matched with K-5th graders. The intention of this mentoring program is to encourage education, hard work, and acknowledge accomplishments achieved by the mentee.
Mentors must be able to meet with their mentee at LEAST once every other week (preferably once a week) throughout the current academic year. Mentors must also pass a background check provided by the school.
