Student research papers with “A” grades eligible for monetary awards
The Bakerman Student Research Award honors student work that reflects excellent research and analytical strategies, locating and using appropriate and credible resources, citing sources in the correct format, and using resources available via Cunningham Memorial Library in a substantial written paper for a course. One undergraduate and one graduate paper will be selected for a monetary award; the undergraduate award is $1,000 and the graduate award is $1,500. Faculty members sponsoring the winning student papers receive an award of $250. Awards will be presented as part of the Authors and Artists Recognition Program in late February 2023.
