Jumpstart January will be held January 9, 10, and 11 in the Faculty Center for Teaching Excellence. The focus of each day will center on Artificial Intelligence and/or ChatGPT and teaching. We will meet from 10-11:30 a.m.
January 9 will feature a panel discussion of how to have the initial discussion at the start of the semester and will include ethics!
January 10 will feature faculty from each college sharing an assignment given to students that required the use of AI for completion.
January 11 is day for those faculty who have not yet had the time to look into ChatGPT.
We will start at the very basic level, and work through possible teaching prompts. We will have delicious fruits and breakfast breads available!
