Jazz Combo for Beginners provides an introduction to the wide world of jazz music for musicians ages 8-14. Students will learn the fundamentals of jazz, jazz culture, and improvisation. Students will rehearse critically every week to ensure the success of retaining information and playing a final concert. Students, if possible, please bring any secondary instrument they already have such as Saxophone, Trumpet, Keyboard, Bass, Drums, Guitar, Etc.
