The Workshop on Woodwinds (WOW!) provides a fun and music-filled three-and-half days on the ISU campus with our outstanding woodwind faculty and ISU music major assistants! Students spend the session involved in private instruction, masterclasses, small chamber ensembles, and topic classes including college audition preparation (and more!) The session will end with a live performance showcase for family, friends, and the community. Join us for a chance to study with talented, knowledgeable, and experienced ISU Woodwind faculty, prepare for future study in music, and WOW! your playing!
WOW! Activities Include:
Private Instruction on your primary instrument (flute, clarinet, or saxophone) with Indiana State University woodwind faculty
Chamber Music ensembles: rehearse and prepare music for live performance
Learn about preparing for college music auditions!
Masterclasses: group sessions for your specific instruments
Special Topic Sessions, such as: Improve your Tone!; Effective Practice; Manage Performance Anxiety; Recording Effectively.
Faculty Recital
Student performance on the final evening of the camp for family, friends, and community!
