Iota Phi Theta fraternity, Inc. – Virtual informational

Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. was founded on September 19, 1963 by twelve men at Morgan State College (now Morgan State University). They were inspired by several events in the midst of the Civil Rights era to start a unique brotherhood that stood on the principles of Scholarship, Leadership, Citizenship, Fidelity, and Brotherhood.

Today, Iota Phi Theta is the 5th largest predominately African-American fraternity with membership making strides to advance our culture through Politics, Civil Rights, Music/Entertainment, and sports.

If you are a young man who is interested in continuing our legacy of “Building a Tradition and Not Resting Upon One,” watch this video (, complete our candidate interest form ( and plan to attend our virtual informational on Saturday, April 24 at 1 pm Eastern/12 pm Central.

If you have any questions prior to the virtual informational, please reach out to Carlos Garrido, Director of Recruitment and Expansion for the Midwest Region at or 847-436-1963.
