We hope this message finds you well. We are excited to announce our move-in week dates and times and we are reaching out for your support! You have a chance to help our new and returning Sycamores make their arrival to campus spectacular!

Why We Need You:
Our Residential Life team will be fully engaged in managing the check-in stations in our residence halls, as well as assisting in parking lots. To ensure everything runs smoothly, we are seeking your assistance to help manage the parking lots with us.
Volunteer Shifts:
Sunday, August 11
– 9:30am – 12:00pm
– 12:00pm – 2:30pm
Thursday, August 15
– 3:30pm – 5:30pm
– 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Friday, August 16
– 7:30am – 10:30am
– 10:30am – 1:30pm
– 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Saturday, August 17
– 7:30am – 10:30am
– 10:30am – 1:30pm
– 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Sunday, August 18
– 9:30am – 12:30pm
– 12:30pm – 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
– Direct arriving students and families to their designated spaces.
– Ensure a timely unloading process.
– Guide them to the appropriate lots for parking post-unloading.
– Given the potentially stressful nature of move-in day, we are seeking faculty & staff to assist, ensuring a calm and efficient process for our students and their families.
Additional Information:
– The Residential Life team will handle residence hall and apartment check-in within the buildings.
– Blue Team will provide training, safety gear (including a stylish neon safety vest), and shaded areas for your comfort. Please feel free to dress comfortably in Indiana State gear. Wear your name badge. Also, come prepared for the weather of that day as well (sunglasses, hat, umbrella, etc.). We will have some chairs at each station, but feel free to bring your own if you’d like.
– We will have team members delivering water to volunteers as well.
