How to save a life – Free Naloxone Training

Student Health Promotion is hosting a Naloxone training with the Indiana Department of Health. Naloxone Program Manager, Laura Hollowell (she/her/hers) will provide the training at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 in Dede I.

Naloxone, also known by the brand name NarcanĀ®, is a drug that can reverse the effect of an opioid or heroin overdose, and can be life-saving if administered in time. The training typically lasts one hour. Participants who attend the full training and practice portion will receive a Naloxone rescue kit, as well as a certificate of completion (mailed after the training).
