Give to Blue Day/Philanthropy Week Official Schedule On-Campus Events

Wednesday, March 22nd: Give to Blue Day! 

“Pour Over Event” Starbucks at HMSU Time: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Sodexo will be providing free Starbucks bakery samples and drink samples to students during this time frame. Student Philanthropy and Foundation staff members will be giving out a Free Starbucks drink and Give to Blue Day t-shirt to students who show their email confirmation of their donation. 

Student Philanthropy Organization “Cash Cab” Time: 10:15 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.
Like last year, the Cash Cab will be riding around campus, giving students rides to classes while quizzing them on ISU trivia. Special guests like Dr. Bierly and Sam Shanks will be along for the ride as well. The Cash Cab will be decked out for Give to Blue Day. While the cab is going, SPO members on board will have the chance to explain what GTBD is to students who are unaware of GTBD, philanthropy, etc.  

Bayh College of Education Food Drive 
The College students/faculty/staff will be collecting canned foods to donate to Franklin Elementary School. This school has the highest level of child poverty rate in Vigo County. Food collected will be given to the school on Give to Blue Day.  

Bailey College of Engineering & Technology Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1 p.m.
By donating or showing proof of a donation on Give to Blue Day, BCET will provide a Chick-fil-A lunch and BCET swag. 

College of Arts and Sciences “Dogs with Deans” Time: 11 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The College of Arts and Sciences Dean and staff will be handing out free hot dogs and veggies dogs to students to promote Give to Blue Day. Students will have an opportunity to give to their college if they would like to.  

College of Health and Human Services Time: 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
By making a donation or showing proof of donation on Give to Blue Day, you can get a free 15-minute massage in the ‘Spine’ of CHHS by students enrolled in the massage therapy program.  

Scott College of Business “Donuts for Donations” Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Students/Faculty and Staff can give any donation and get a donut provided by the Scott College of Business.
