Faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend a Mental Heath First Aid training that will teach them to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in students. The session, which is being offered free of charge, will be held Friday, June 17 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Landsbaum Center for Health Education, 1433 N. 6 1/2 Street, on Union Hospital’s campus. Participants who complete the course will earn a Mental Health First Aid certification through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
