The Foundational Studies Council seeks nominations from faculty for members. These members will serve two-year terms (Fall 2024-Spring 2026) as representatives of the faculty teaching in a specific category and as part of the primary governing body concerning the Foundational Studies Program.
The eligible categories are listed below.
• Fine & Performing Arts (FPA)
• High-Impact Practices (HIP)
• Laboratory Science (LabSci)
• Non-Native Languages (NNL)
• Quantitative Literacy (QL)
• Upper Division Integrative Electives (UDIE)
All regular faculty at Indiana State University who teach at least one Foundational Studies course annually or who are charged with oversight of Foundational Studies courses are eligible for nomination.
Below is a link to a Qualtrics survey for nominations, which is due on April 8. The slate of candidates will be announced and the Council will vote at its April 18 meeting.
