This Spring the Sport Management Program will be offering a special topics course, SPM 417: Final Four Experience. The course will be run in conjunction with five other universities in Indiana and the NCAA. The course includes an experiential learning component during the NCAA Men’s Final Four from March 31 to April 6 (exact dates and times TBD).
Course Description: This course focuses on what it takes to bid for, plan, organize, and execute a mega sporting event by immersing themselves in the 2026 Men’s Division I Final Four. Students will engage with the Indianapolis Local Organizing Committee and learn from event professionals from a variety of technical and professional expertise. Additionally, the course includes a strong experiential learning focus with opportunities to execute important activations related to the 2026 Men’s Final Four.
