Faculty Fellow for UDL Sought to Lead New FCTE Initiative

Position terms: Spring 2023, Fall 2023 and eligible for re-appointment
Possible Summer Stipend Option Available

The Faculty Center for Teaching Excellence (FCTE) is seeking a Faculty Fellow for Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Responsibilities of the position are to develop programming with respect to ways faculty can integrate UDL components into course design and class structure to support student success. In addition to programming, the Faculty Fellow will assist in communicating the UDL framework for teaching across campus. Knowledge of UDL supported by strong organization, communication, and presentation skills are expected. This position reports to the FCTE Director.

The Faculty Fellow is open to instructor, tenure-track, or tenured faculty with a commitment to UDL. This one course buyout position is for the spring 2023 term and for the Fall 2023 term and includes a stipend to support departmental coverage of the faculty member’s course(s). Stipend provided for summer 2023 through June 30 is optional.
