‘From the Second Floor’ is a showcase of student work from the Department of Art and Design’s Digital Art and Graphic Design disciplines. Graphic Design and Digital Art skills and talents often overlap and complement one another in industry and in the classroom. As a reflection of that symbiosis, both disciplines are housed on the second floor of the Fine Arts building here at Indiana State University. The Graphic Design pieces are students’ creative responses and solutions for various marketing, advertising, branding, narrative and user experience challenges. Digital art works include students’ artistic expressions through storytelling, 3D modeling, animation and experimental media, realized using computers and other digital tools. We invite you to enjoy and celebrate the amazing work of our students ‘From the ‘Second Floor.’
