About: Eight students in the summer drawing class collaborated on a continuous 30’ drawing, taking inspiration from the architectural and decorative features of Fairbanks Hall. The resulting work was then split into eight sections and the students incorporated self-portraits that echoed the famous historical figures immortalized in the stained glass dome above the gallery. The dynamic process of group decision-making and collaborative creativity led to the energetic and unified work which is now being shown in the very gallery where it was created.
