The ISU Center for Science Education is accepting registrations for Summer Science Camp 2024 (July 22 – August 2).
The ISU Summer Science Camp has openings for children enrolled in grades 2-6 during the 2024-2025 academic year. The camp will be taught by pre-service teachers (junior and senior elementary education majors) enrolled in our science teaching/methods course. Experienced, licensed teachers will also be on hand to help with camp supervision. The camp is designed to teach children basic science concepts using fun, hands-on activities. The camp begins on July 22 and ends on August 2. During this time, the camp will meet Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until noon. The cost of this year’s camp is $140 per child.
