The 6th annual EARTHlings’ Earth Day Climate March will begin at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, at the Vigo County Public Library (680 Poplar St, Terre Haute). We will walk to the speakers’ platform between the Terre Haute City Hall and the Courthouse, where members of the EARTHlings youth group (Environmental Activists for a Resilient Terre Haute), students from Terre Haute middle and high schools, and Indiana State University students will talk briefly. Mayor Sakbun will close out the speakers. All members of the Indiana State University and Terre Haute community are invited to show their commitment to increasing local awareness about the climate and ecological crises we face together.
