Join SPECTRUM at our annual Drop of Lavender Conference on Friday, April 11th from 10 am-5 pm in HMSU, Dede I! This conference is open to all students and will serve as an educational opportunity to learn, discover, celebrate, and discuss LGBTQ+ topics.
This year, we talk about Queer Joy as Resistance, a look into different ways the LGBTQIA+ community expresses themselves through art, poetry, and media as a way to fight stigmas even in the modern day. Join us for fun activities, workshops, our Guest Speaker Abby Bland, and end the day off with a Drag Show! Need a break? Don’t worry! We will offer a sensory room as a place to relax if needed.
You can pop in for a session or two or stay all day! Make sure to RSVP with us in advance so we can order you lunch! We can’t wait to see you there for an amazing conference!”
