Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Mini Week Celebration

Please Join the Charles E. Brown African American Cultural Center for an alternative celebration from our annual dinner to a Mini Week of events to celebrate and honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Mini Week of Events

· Social Media Takeover- Jan. 15th –Jan. 21st- We’re asking all organizations, departments and you to share MLK facts and information from his birthday and the entire week.

· MLK Trivia- Come Join us Tuesday, Jan. 18th at 6pm in the AACC and learn fun facts and information about Dr. King. Hosted by Black Student Union, NAACP, NCNW, BOSS, SAAS and the AACC student staff. Prizes will be available.

· Candlelight Vigil- Meet us at Fountain Jan. 19th at 6pm to have a moment of reflection and honor Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement.

· Community Service for Dr. King Jan. 20th from noon-2:00pm in the Charles E. Brown African American Cultural Center.

· Wear All Black for solidarity on Jan. 21st
