Media Realization Center [MRC] at Indiana State University is pleased to present “Digital Art Student Exhibition Fall 2021: Looking Inside.” Exhibiting Intermediate, Advanced, and MFA Digital Art students present works inspired by Gaston Bachelard’s The Poetics of Space, and Let’s All Heart, a collaborative installation with projection mapping-based animations. In addition, Introductory-level Digital Art students present their projects in sound, digital imaging, and animation.
The public is invited to attend the opening reception featuring a special one-night-only large-scale outdoor performance on Thursday, Nov 4th from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Turman Art Gallery and outdoor courtyard area of Normal Hall and Fine Arts Building. A wide array of exciting works ranging from augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), digital animation, video, sound, and live performance will be presented. This special gathering will also celebrate ISU’s return to full-capacity events with a variety of refreshments and international cuisine.
The Turman Art Gallery is located on the ISU campus in the Fine Arts Building on Chestnut, just west of 7th Street. The exhibit runs through Nov 1 – 16, 2021.
All indoor ISU events require face coverings.
