Day camps offered to teach youth about health careers

West Central Indiana Area Health Education Center (WCI-AHEC), in collaboration with Indiana University School of Medicine – Terre Haute, is again providing an opportunity for youth to learn about health careers through its annual Dr. Camp and Camp MD. The camps, for 6-8 grade students and 9-12 grade students, respectively, are set to take place July 17 and 18 at the Landsbaum Center for Health Education in Terre Haute. They are free to participants and will include interactive hands-on experiences, medical simulations, and system-specific lessons led by current IU medical students. Lunch will be provided, but advanced registration is required.
