Please join our Culturally Relevant Pedagogy Series as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021, via Zoom.
Dr. Lucy Campbell and Mr. Oscar Henriquez will share the rich history, customs, and traditions of the Hispanic, Latinx, and Chicanx communities.
This dialogue will support culturally responsive strategies that can be invaluable in our classrooms, service areas, offices, and throughout the Vigo County community.
Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated, annually, from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. We recognize that ALL communities & cultures should be acknowledged 365 days a year. Indiana State University hosts numerous events, each month, inclusive to all members of the university and Wabash Valley community.
The Culturally Relevant Pedagogy Series was created to promote awareness and empowerment to enhance equity, inclusion, and social justice across Indiana State University. The dialogues that take place each month are authentic, transparent lessons that cannot be found in the pages of a book. Join us and see for yourself.
