Civitas Training

Our new advising and student support software Civitas is rolling out course alerts this fall. Now that some departments have been using the software, we are looking for additional faculty who are interested in learning how Civitas can boost the retention and success rates of their students. Alerts allow faculty to notify advising staff for additional intervention when a student is at risk of performing poorly in the class. Faculty can then follow the progress of their alert to its resolution, tracking updates from advising and student success staff.

If you or your department are interested in beginning to use Civitas for course alerts, please email Adam Wert, adam.wert@indstate.edu, for more information and to be included in upcoming trainings.
