Commencement Ceremony Speaker requirements
Application Deadline: Monday, October 17th 2022
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation from Indiana State University! You are an inspiration to us all. We would love for you to share your story with your fellow graduates, at the College of Graduate and Professional Studies December 2022 Commencement Ceremony.
Requirements:
Your original speech, five minutes (When read, speech should be as close to five minutes as possible, but no longer)
Applicants must be a Graduate student, graduating (or Graduated in Summer 2022) and participating in the Winter 2022 Commencement Ceremony.
Applicants will need to submit:
Their written speech
A cover letter
A resume
Contact information for a Faculty member for a reference (the committee will contact this person directly)
You will be contacted via email regarding if you were chosen as a speaker or not. (BY TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24TH 2022)
Speeches should be submitted by email to Sunshine Mack, College of Graduate and Professional Studies.
