Colleagues Helping Implement Lifelong Learning, also known as C.H.I.L.L., was accepted to present two presentations at the National Association for Professional Development Schools (NAPDS) teaching conference in Jacksonville, Florida. Nine of their board members flew to Florida to present and attend at this conference. The first presentation included information about C.H.I.L.L. as an organization and their partnerships with local schools. The second presentation expanded on our current initiative to continue connections with C.H.I.L.L. alumni and other early teachers in the field. During their time in Jacksonville, C.H.I.L.L. was able to bond as a team, educate others, and learn about teaching strategies and classroom planning in current education. C.H.I.L.L. is grateful for the opportunity to attend this conference and look forward to preparing for next year’s conference in Anaheim, California.
