Terre Haute Beatniks is a newly-formed children’s percussion ensemble. We work collaboratively to arrange and play popular music using a multitude of percussion instruments and techniques. We focus on learning rhythmic principles and basic skills of hand and stick drumming, including an introduction to some traditional African drumming.
