Starting March 15, the Career Center is offering a 1 credit, 8-week course focused on the job search and navigating the first few weeks of your new job. Through this course students will learn the ins and outs of the job search including but not limited to resources to use in a job search, résumé and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, and salary negotiations. We will also discuss working with bosses and co-workers and professionalism in the work place. This is being taught as an online, synchronous course (i.e. you must be on Zoom during every class period), and you must be of senior standing to enroll.
This is a special topics course listed as UNIV 299 – Summer Undergraduate Research (ignore the “summer” and “research” in the title). The CRN is 13436.
