Associate Dean for Academics Search in CHHS

The College of Health and Human Services invites applications and nominations for the Associate Dean for Academics. Reporting directly to the Dean, the Associate Dean for Academics facilitates the mission of the college by supporting degree program quality; facilitating the recruitment, development and retention of faculty and staff; and facilitating faculty and student scholarship and community engagement. The Associate Dean for Academics supports the Dean and the CHHS through critical decisions involving personnel, resource allocation, and daily operations. The Associate Dean for Academics represents the Dean and CHHS to internal and external constituents as needed. This is a 12-month academic professional position.

The Associate Dean for Academics will have a record of relevant leadership experience, and potential for or demonstrated effectiveness as an administrator. The AD must be a tactful and compassionate oral communicator, have strong written communication skills, be able to foster a civil and collaborative work environment, have experience and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusive excellence and the ability to advance the strategic plans of the College and University. Candidates must hold an earned doctorate in a health, human services, education, or related field.
