The Commuter Ambassador is an awesome opportunity to help out other commuter students. You’ll work in New Student Transition Programs to plan events and communicate with commuter students to help ISU feel more like home!
Commuter Life has been growing, which means as a Commuter Ambassador you have a say in planning new events and improving on old ones! A Commuter Ambassador is someone that wants to help other commuter students with navigating campus and feeling connect to ISU. They are someone who wants to reach out and get to know commuters, forming relationships and learning more about what commuters need to thrive.
The ambassador will work with the Assistant Director in New Student Transition Programs office. This is great opportunity to grow your public speaking skills and working to prepare events behind the scenes including advertising for spaces. You would also prepare regular communications to share about events happening on-campus and upcoming deadlines.
